THE ROLE
This is a ground-floor position on the field operations team at Spyder, a commercial restoration company that does serious work on serious projects. You will work directly alongside a Senior Superintendent, keeping job sites organized, crews supplied, and details documented. It is task-based, hands-on, and frequently unglamorous. It is also how people who want to build a real career in construction get started at this company.
No overselling. No invented prestige. You will be the person who makes sure things actually get done.
WHAT YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME DOING
- Running materials, supplies, and equipment to crews when and where they are needed
- Supporting the Superintendent in tracking the 3-week Look Ahead Schedule and relaying information between trades
- Taking site photos, documenting punch list items, and uploading progress to Dropbox — accurately and consistently
- Assisting with staging, cleanup, and basic layout support across active job sites
- Following up on open punch list items and helping ensure nothing falls through the cracks at closeout
- Observing crew work and flagging quality or safety concerns to the Superintendent
- Upholding OSHA standards and Spyder site safety protocols every day, without exception
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You need to be someone who notices when something is not quite right and takes care of it. Someone who finishes what they start. Someone who would rather do the job correctly the first time than explain later why it was not.
- High school diploma or GED required; trade or vocational coursework is a plus
- Comfortable taking clear direction and working within a structured field environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying conditions
- Prior exposure to commercial construction or restoration is a plus, but we will train the right person
WHAT WE STAND FOR
All Spyder employees are expected to model our values:
- Own the Outcome — Start it, finish it, own it.
- Deliver Consistently — Maintain our standard, every time, everywhere.
- Forge Real Relationships — Be authentic, earn trust.
- Stay Gritty, Keep Growing — Push hard, keep improving.

- Company-Paid Life Insurance
- 401(k) with 4% Company Match
- Paid Time Off & Sick Leave
