The City of Bothell’s Public Works Department presents an exciting opportunity for administrative experts to join a dedicated, enthusiastic team of professionals in our Administrative Division at the Bothell Operations Center as the next Administrative Assistant, Lead!


Recruitment information:

  • Options for schedule: 5/8s (start time ranges from 7:00 am - 8:00 am)

  • Position will close Friday, September 25, 2026 at 12:00 pm


What will you do in this position?

  • Act as a Lead to the Administrative Assistant positions. This includes scheduling and prioritizing work tasks, assigning and coordinating daily work activities, performing duties within scope of authority, and training.
  • Apply specific knowledge of department policies and procedures to oversee administrative workflow, manage special projects and assignments, and relieve staff of routine administrative detail.
  • Manage special projects and assignments and initiates process improvement initiatives across a wide range of areas, requiring comprehensive knowledge of departmental procedures and policies.
  • Create, edit, and process memoranda, technical documents, and other communications.
  • Support records management and retention initiatives by working with Administrative Assistants to maintain department files.
