Job Description

Sr Manager, Digital Product - Operational Planning

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Manager, Digital Product - Operational Planning based in the United States.

This is a strategic product leadership role at the intersection of data, operations, and digital product management.
You will own the vision and roadmap for operational planning and demand generation capabilities.
The role focuses on forecasting outreach demand, modeling capacity, and turning complex data into actionable insights.
You will lead the development of internal planning tools and recommendation engines that improve resource allocation.
Working across Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Operations, and Product, you will influence decisions in a highly matrixed environment.
This is an opportunity to shape an emerging product area, moving early concepts and prototypes toward scalable, production-ready solutions.
Your work will directly support more efficient healthcare operations and better experiences for members and clinicians.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for operational planning and demand generation, building on existing prototypes and strategic direction.
  • Lead the development of an internal planning platform that visualizes supply and demand across outreach capacity and clinician availability, enabling operational leaders to identify gaps and make informed decisions.
  • Own the development of recommendation capabilities that optimize the allocation of outreach and clinician capacity across member populations, ensuring recommendations are reliable, interpretable, and actionable.
  • Partner with Engineering, Analytics, Finance, and Operations to define data requirements, integrate critical inputs, maintain data integrity, and support accurate forecasting and planning cycles.
  • Ensure planning outputs effectively feed downstream systems responsible for detailed clinician capacity planning, coordinating integration requirements and cross-system dependencies.
  • Identify user and business needs, facilitate trade-off discussions, negotiate priorities, and drive alignment across teams with competing objectives and priorities.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs that measure planning effectiveness, including member-to-capacity matching within target windows and progress against annual completion goals.
  • Translate complex analytical models, operational data, and planning concepts into clear recommendations and compelling communications for technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Coordinate dependencies across adjacent product areas while managing expectations around scope, delivery timelines, and roadmap priorities.
  • Build strong relationships across a matrixed organization and lead through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Drive the evolution of early-stage concepts and prototypes into intuitive, reliable, scalable production products.
  • Apply curiosity, data-informed thinking, and creative problem-solving to identify opportunities for automation and improved forecasting, planning, and capacity allocation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, a quantitative discipline, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in product management.
  • Proven ability to deliver measurable business outcomes while owning complex, ambiguous problems spanning multiple systems, products, and teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with demand forecasting, capacity modeling, supply-and-demand optimization, or comparable analytical planning disciplines.
  • Experience owning data-intensive products, including visualization tools, planning interfaces, analytical products, or other user-facing data experiences.
  • Strong ability to partner with Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Design, Finance, and Operations teams to translate complex requirements into effective product solutions.
  • Demonstrated success leading through influence within matrixed organizations and building alignment without direct reporting authority.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • Experience taking products from prototypes or early concepts through definition, development, launch, and ongoing optimization is preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations, outreach programs, population health, clinician capacity, or member-level data is a plus.
  • Experience productizing forecasting or analytical models and translating algorithmic outputs into intuitive planning tools is preferred.
  • Experience building internal operator tools, downstream-integrated products, or products that inform automated workflows is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, data pipelines, and system integrations for improving forecasting, planning, or resource allocation is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership, adaptability, intellectual curiosity, and a bias toward data-driven decision-making.
Benefits
  • Base salary range of $118,450–$236,900, with the actual offer determined by factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.
  • Eligibility for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to base compensation.
  • Eligibility for an equity award program.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off and other eligible time-away benefits.
  • Retirement savings options.
  • Wellness programs and resources supporting physical, emotional, and financial well-being.
  • Additional benefits and resources available based on eligibility and detailed during the application process.
  • Remote position within the United States, with some travel required.
  • Opportunity to work on products designed to improve healthcare operations and create tangible value for members and clinicians.
