RN, Electrophysiology Nurse in Bowling Green, Kentucky at Med Center Health

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of professional nursing care to assigned patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, including assessment, implementation, coordination, teaching, consultation, and evaluation of patient care. Provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures, including electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, cardioversions, and cardiac device implantation. Responsibilities include pre- and post-procedure care, circulating duties, cardiac rhythm and hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, procedural sedation, and emergency response. Enhances the quality and professionalism of nursing practice, maintains knowledge and competency in electrophysiology nursing, and participates in shared decision-making. On assigned shifts, coordinates and oversees the completion of work assignments for LPNs, Nurse Assistants, and/or Unit Clerks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Graduate of a nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
