Job Description
The Biology and Chemistry department offers courses that support majors in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Technician, and Allied Health. These courses/programs prepare students for careers in laboratory science and prepare students for further study at four-year institutions in various Science-related fields.
Courses offered in chemistry include:
- CHM 120 Principles of Inorganic Chemistry/Lab
- CHM 121 Principles of Organic & Biochemistry/Lab
- CHM 201 General Chemistry I/Lab
- CHM 202 General Chemistry II/Lab
- CHM 251 Organic Chemistry I/Lab
- CHM 252 Organic Chemistry II/Lab
In your application materials, please include which classes you have the qualifications and experience to teach as well as your day/time and campus availability. There are anticipated openings for a morning CHM 201 M/W/Fr class and an evening CHM 120.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree or higher in chemistry.
- Experience teaching chemistry at the college level.
Additional Information:
Salary: $1,512.00 per credit hour.
