Position OverviewThe Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) plays a key role in creating a welcoming, positive, and seamless experience for every patient. This position combines patient experience, front desk administration, and marketing-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience Greet and thank patients warmly upon arrival and departure.Offer refreshments and the Comfort Menu to patients.Provide tours and welcome gifts to all new patients.Prepare new patient gifts and welcome letters.Prepare and send thank-you letters following a patient's first visit.Maintain the beverage centre, community board, and patient experience displays.Support Patient Gift Days, Patient of the Month, and referral contest activities.Track patient wait times and help maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized environment.Administrative SupportCheck patients in and assist with confirmation calls.Ensure new patient forms, medical histories, and releases are completed.Confirm insurance information during check-in.Maintain up-to-date patient photos in AbelDent.Assist with outgoing referrals and the Daily Gap.Help keep the waiting room and washrooms clean and tidy.Support mail, bank deposits, seasonal mats/booties, and other front desk duties as required.What We're Looking ForA friendly, patient-focused team playerStrong attention to detail and organizationProfessionalism, discretion, and excellent communication skillsA positive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentNo dental experience required—we will train the right person!
