JOB SUMMARY

Provides planned, skilled nursing care for patients in the pre-procedure, and post-procedure periods. Provides continuous patient surveillance for early recognition and immediate emergency treatment of medical or surgical complications that may arise in the pre/post-procedure patient.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current Connecticut RN License.Graduate of an accredited nursing school.BLS and ACLS certification required prior to the date of hire.2 years Endoscopy, Peri-Op, or Critical Care experience preferred.Must be able to communicate effectively and work closely with all physicians and staff.Strong organizational skills.Bilingual a plus.
