About This Position

We currently have an opening for an experienced underwriter with minimum 3 years experience in commercial underwriting. The successful candidate will be working in a hybrid setting which promotes healthy collaboration with colleagues.
Skills and experience
- minimum 3 years in the P&C industry with underwriting responsibility
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Strong communicator
- Commitment to completing assigned tasks, while being mindful of the team's long term goals
- Team player who prioritizes collaboration
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with brokers with professional courtesy in a manner that is consistent with our service oriented approach
- collaborate with our UK and domestic Market business associates
- Underwrite new applications, endorsements by researching and determining the appropriate rates
