We are currently seeking an experienced:

IT PROJECT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY:

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Manages IT projects and project teams, including creating and executing project work plans to deliver agreed business outcomes.
  • Identifies needs and defines major tasks and milestones based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel.
  • Revises work plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements while ensuring stakeholder engagement and benefit tracking.

2. Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Identifies key project stakeholders and interdependencies to maximize project success.
  • Builds and manages relationships with vendors and stakeholders. Serves as liaison between implementation personnel, leaders, and vendors by leading meetings, reviewing project details, and obtaining approvals/signoffs.
  • Delivers engaging, informative, and well-organized communications, presentations, and meetings.
  • Prepares reports for leadership, providing project status updates and other critical information.

3. Quality, Risk & Compliance Management

  • Establishes and enforces project quality standards.
  • Monitors project status, ensuring alignment with timelines and deliverables.
  • Identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Ensures compliance with contractual and regulatory commitments.

4. Financial Management

  • Oversees financial aspects of implementations, monitoring costs and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Tracks expenditures against budget and provides recommendations for efficiency improvements.

5. Documentation & Governance

  • Creates and maintains project documentation according to IT department standards.
  • Ensures documentation supports governance, compliance, and audit readiness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in project management or no degree but 6 years of experience.
  • PMP or similar certification is strongly desired.
  • Experience in project management within Information Technology or Healthcare IT is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Jira Cloud preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in project management, or 6 years of experience without a degree.
  • PMP or equivalent certification strongly desired.
  • Experience in Information Technology and/or Healthcare IT is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • High aptitude for learning and adopting new technologies to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple project streams simultaneously.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse disciplines and levels of experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and proactively enhance project management strategies.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate goals and action plans clearly.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
