About This Position
Pay Range: $17.27 - $23.32 / hour
Additional components of compensation may include:

- Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
- Overtime
- On-call pay
Per Diem Staff will not be eligible to participate in any associate benefit plans sponsored by the Health System.

POSITION SUMMARY: Receives and verifies orders, sets up and distributes stock on a daily basis following established procedures. Monitors storage and receiving temperatures putting orders away in a timely manner to ensure HACCP guidelines are met through the delivery process. Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment in the dock, storeroom and walk-in coolers and freezer. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives. |

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Must have current State of Illinois Food Sanitation certification or obtain within 6 months of hire. If no valid license is in place prior to hire, on-line Serve Safe Food Handler certification required. Must have valid Illinois State Driver’s license and a driving record that allows for the Health System insurance carrier to cover the incumbent. |

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to read and following written instructions and check invoices. Basic mathematic skills required. Good oral communication and customer service skills. Ability to effectively and respectfully interact with staff and the public within the organization and community. Successful completion of annual job specific competencies required. |
