Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the daily activities of the Provider Data Maintenance team. Plans and implements projects that will improve processes related to the maintenance of provider data, generating provider directories and claims entry/processing functions. Acts as an advisor and technical resource for electronic claims reporting and processing to enable the department to meet regulatory requirements/CFHP business plan. Leads or assists Configuration Manager in managing various projects
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate Degree in business, health care administration or related area and/or equivalent level of experience is preferred. Minimum three years medical claims experience in health care setting is required. Previous supervisory experience required. Knowledge of all claims coding formats, as well as insurance industry standard procedures required. Knowledge of AMISYS claims processing system recommended
