Business Data Analyst in San Antonio, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as the primary support contact for Tableau reporting supporting University Health. Designs, builds, and tests data visualizations and analytical reports to requirements that meet end user needs. Responsible for interpreting and transforming data into accurate, consistent, and timely information while balancing the "big picture" strategic vision with day-to-day details. Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks in a timely and proficient manner. Individual must maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other UHS staff and perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the UHS policies and procedures.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE
2+ years of experience with analytics and report creation is required. 2+ years of experience in Tableau is required. Tableau Prep, Desktop, Online and Server. Bachelor’s degree in data analytics or other work related field is preferred. Work experience may be substituted for formal education requirement. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Proficiency in the following is preferred: MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint. Will be required to successfully pass the Cogito assessment for technical knowledge and analytical application in Tableau.
