Position Summary:

Safety of employees should be considered your number one priority every day
Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management on construction projects
Position reports to Superintendent
Superintendent sets the working hours
This position is classified as hourly
CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-Hour, LSC Basic Orientation Plus (BOP) and Site Specific Safety Certification is required.
Successful pre-employment background check for LMC and all military bases is required
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen is required
10-Year DMV Report required for driving company vehicles (as applicable)as per LMC and insurance guidelines
TWIC card for special projects may be required
Key Responsibilities:
• This is a working Foreman role
• Responsible for the oversight of a crew ranging from 3-10 people (varying on experience) to ensure that proper safety is being implemented, deadlines are met, and overall jobsite is in upstanding order
• Accountable for staff, equipment, and minimizing overall production cost
• Delegation of responsibility with crew, other Foreman, and Contractors
• Manage quality of work on project, field problems, punch lists, timecards, evaluations, and equipment
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
Position Requirements
• Successful pre-employment background check for Landmark Construction and all military bases is required
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen is required
• Minimum 5 years of sitework, heavy equipment, underground utilities, deep sewer, pipe installation, storm drain install, and 2 years of experience in a leadership position, Foreman role or similar
• 10-Year DMV Report required for driving company vehicles
Physical Requirements
• Work involves sitting, walking or standing for extended periods of time in various adverse weather conditions
• Must be able to repeatedly lift and/or carry weights of five to fifty pounds
• Requires the ability of speaking and/or signaling people to convey or exchange information
• Must have minimal levels of eye/hand/foot coordination
• Numerical Aptitude- This position requires the ability to utilize mathematical formulas; adding and subtracting totals; multiplying and dividing.
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, safety glasses, hard hat with chin strap, reflective safety vest, gloves, ear protection, face shield, safety toe boots
