INVENTORY CLERK in Downey, California at CHAMPION DODGE LLC

Essential Job Functions: (Responsibilities include but not limited to):

• Issuing stock numbers and stocking in New and Used vehicles
• Issue purchase checks for used vehicles
• Process Dealer Trades incoming & outgoing vehicles
• Issue Dealer Trade difference checks
• Communicate effectively with other dealers for collecting funds.
• Maintain New & Used vehicle inventory schedules.
• Review trade-in vehicle documents for accuracy of paperwork.
• Make payoff checks for trade-in vehicles
• Verify CIT paid for customers, prior to mailing payoff-check.
• Prepares journal entries for adjustments made to the schedules, and submits to management for authorization
• Month End reports and schedules
• Meets critical deadlines as required for financial statement reporting
• Assists with flooring audits on an as-needed basis
• Daily Deposit
• Maintain all reports that have to do with daily deposit, including Parts and Service Cash Sales open tickets
• Maintain NVDR Daily Report
• Serve as Backup Cashier when needed

Requirements:

• Previous Auto Dealership experience a must
• Must be familiar with all deal documents
• Must be highly organized and experienced in handling high volumes of paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail and able to multi-task
• Excellent follow-through skills
• Ability to work in constantly busy atmosphere
• Good attendance required
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager
