We are experiencing continuous growth and have an immediate opening for a CG Generalist. This hybrid position requires working in our Richmond, BC, office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-end VFX and render marketing materials, including videos, images, and films.
  • Develop photorealistic 3D renderings for marketing content, achieving intricate and top-notch levels of realism.
  • Produce VFX and renders for installation guides, sales videos, digital campaigns, commercials, social media, and web assets.
  • Generate photorealistic 3D visuals for product lines, new launches, and advertising campaigns.
  • Animate CG assets for product development, advertisements, and branding materials.
  • Edit light VFX and motion picture graphics for images, videos, and short films.
  • Produce stills and editorials for photography, cinematography, and product presentations.
  • Render e-commerce content material and digital customer journey flows.
  • Create stills, films, visuals, and animations integrated for campaign rollouts.
  • Implement streamlined revision cycles based on multiple stakeholder critiques.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum post-secondary degree or equivalent in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience in and familiarity with the home improvement industry is preferred.
  • Expert-level VFX realism in photo, video, film rendering, stills, and visual effects.
  • 3+ years of experience as a CG Generalist or 3D Artist (preferably in marketing or advertising).
  • Expert proficiency in 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or 3ds Max.
  • Skilled in rendering engines like Octane, Redshift, V-Ray or similar software.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere).
  • High-level expertise in still image rendering and animated CG videos.
  • High-level expertise in lighting, texturing, shading, and compositing.
  • High-level experience in the motion graphics or VFX industry.
  • Strong familiarity with Unreal Engine or Unity for real-time rendering.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and take direction.
  • Strong portfolio with photo/video/film of realism renders (please include links)

Compensation: Starting from $70,000 per year based on experience.
