Homes are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions, which can be dramatically reduced by converting to heat pumps, however, adoption lags due to high cost and friction in the retrofit process today. Solving one layer of the value chain won’t move the needle on adoption. Mass adoption will come when it becomes a no-brainer for homeowners to transition. That is why Jetson is building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company. Jetson will make it simple, transparent and affordable for everyone to get a heat pump.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an extremely motivated and passionate visual designer who would like to be a part of an exciting new company looking to fight climate change through disrupting the residential HVAC industry. You will have a hand in developing the visual identity of the Jetson brand. .

Responsibilities:

• Develop layouts, designs, and visuals for Jetson’s digital and print media, including websites, apps, and marketing materials.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, and developers to craft UI/UX designs for mobile applications
• Create illustrations in the Jetson brand style for use in various digital and print mediums.
• Create mockups and prototypes for review with senior leadership
• Focus on usability and aesthetics to enhance user interaction.
• Continuous learning in design trends and technologies

Requirements:

• 7 or more years of experience developing visual design elements in a fast paced, ideally startup environment
• Must be an expert in Figma and Adobe suite
• Illustration and drawing skills
• Proficiency in UI/UX is an asset
• Experience in print file preparation is an asset
• Proven decision making and problem solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000 - $70,000 per annum
