Graphics Install Technician at Like New Car Care – Campbell River, British Columbia

Like New Car Care is growing, and we’re expanding our graphics and vehicle customization division. From vehicle decals and wraps to signage and custom installs, we take pride in delivering high-quality work that reflects the professionalism of our dealership group.

We are looking for an experienced Graphics Install Technician who is confident working both in the production room and out on the floor completing installs. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the trade, takes pride in precision work, and can operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Role Summary:

The Graphics & Vehicle Wrap Installer is responsible for producing, preparing, and installing a variety of vinyl graphics, decals, and signage. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects from production through to final installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install vehicle graphics, decals, and vinyl wraps to a high standard
• Apply signage, window graphics, and other custom vinyl applications
• Ensure clean, precise installs with attention to detail and finish quality

• Operate and manage production equipment (printers, plotters, laminators, etc.)
• Prepare files, materials, and prints for installation
• Cut, weed, and prep vinyl and graphics accurately

• Manage jobs from start to finish, including:
  • Reviewing work orders
  • Preparing materials
  • Completing installs within timelines
• Ensure all work meets quality and brand standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production and install area
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Monitor material usage and flag supply needs

• Work closely with the GM and the Like New team to prioritize and complete work
• Communicate clearly regarding timelines, challenges, and job status

• Proven experience in:
  • Vehicle graphics / wraps
  • Vinyl installation
  • Signage production and installation
• Strong understanding of production processes and equipment
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Valid driver’s licence

• Experience with design software (Adobe Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience working in a dealership or high-volume environment
• Knowledge of different vinyl types and application techniques

• Someone who knows the trade — not entry level
• Detail-oriented with a high standard of finish
• Reliable, accountable, and self-driven
• Comfortable balancing production and install work
