Job Description

Adaria Vending Services is a Vaughan based company specializing in logistics and fulfillment services for vending machines. Our clients range from offices to manufacturing plants to public areas - pretty much anywhere you'll ever find a vending machine. We're a young, dynamic team dedicated to providing industry leading fulfillment to vending machines and clients located in southern Ontario.

We're looking for someone to fill the position of a Vending Machine Field Service Technician. We want someone who has a positive attitude, is detail oriented and will work independently on the road. You will be driving a cargo van, so being comfortable with driving is necessary for this position.

What will you do?

  • Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, coffee, and kiosk equipment
  • Unload and reload with products as necessary
  • Interact with customers while performing daily duties.
  • Install and restock Vending equipment and Micromarkets as required
  • Fill installed equipment with new product as requested
  • Prioritize and schedule service and maintenance calls to meet customer service windows
  • Drive to location, evaluate situation and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity, carpentry)
  • Collect accurate and complete equipment and customer information
  • Diagnose and isolate problems
  • Remove old parts and replace with new parts
  • Maintain parts inventory on service truck
  • Establish positive relationship with contacts at service calls
  • Use a handheld device for data entry of call information
  • Manage and reply to support ticketing system

What you must have?

  • Dependability
  • Organizational skills
  • Heavy Technical skills
  • Ability to count, add and multiply; basic mental arithmetic skills
  • Be able to use a handheld device for data and reporting entry
  • Be able to work independently and take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Clean driving record: G class license
  • Defensive and safe driving skills
  • Clean criminal record: must be bondable - police check will be performed
  • Valid work permit or be a permanent resident of Canada
  • This job is fast paced and physically demanding and you must be willing to take ownership of the job.
  • You must be very mechanically inclined, be able to diagnose and perform troubleshooting steps to repair any manner of vending machines and able to use basic hand tools
  • Repeated lifting of moderate to heavy items required, up to 50 lbs.
