Environmental Services Supervisor at Bayley Senior Care Corp – Cincinnati, Ohio

Under the direction of the VP Operations, performs supervisory duties to ensure that a safe and clean environment is maintain in all campus facilities, and assists VP Operations with departmental operations. Works to create a team environment with the Environmental Specialists, ES Floor Technicians and Laundry Worker reporting to the supervisor's area of responsibility. Reports unsafe conditions or items needing maintenance to the appropriate personal. This role is full-time days Monday - Friday.

1. Responsible for the daily supervision and general morale of environmental & laundry services and departmental services personnel. Accountable for team productivity and the timely completion of delegated work assignments in accordance with established standards.
2. Provides a quality work environment through teaming principles, effective team leadership, and a demonstrated positive attitude.
3. Inspects work areas for quality assurance. Document inspections on proper log sheet.
4. Assists Environmental Specialist and ES Floor Technician as required.
5. Communicates with Maintenance Director, reporting conditions needing maintenance, incidences needing attention, and advises director of concerns or problems.
6. Functions appropriately to emergency situations.
7. Assists with the training and orientation of new employees.
8. Compiles and submits supply orders.
9. Coordinates set-ups.
10. Participates and/or approves the hiring, discipline, development, and evaluation of personnel.
11. Participates in the development, maintenance, and updating of policies and procedures governing day-to-day departmental functions and services.

• High School diploma or GED required, associate's degree or related specialized training preferred
• 1 - 3 years of institutional cleaning experience required, supervisory experience preferred
