WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As RAMS Manager, you are the engine behind the success of our Remote Avionics Modification Services. You will lead complex modification projects, coordinate schedules across multiple teams, and serve as the key point of technical and operational expertise for the department. You will:
    Lead and manage all RAMS activities, acting as the senior on-site expert and central administrator.Partner with leadership, including the COO, to set the standard for quality, safety and regulatory compliance. Coordinate project scheduling, workload planning, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.Build and manage work packages that optimize efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance.Monitor all aircraft receiving services, proactively identifying potential delays and notifying management and customers.Ensure personnel are qualified and have the proper authorities for Return-to-Service compliance.Maintain professional relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners, fostering a collaborative environment.Manage project documentation, FAA compliance paperwork, and CRM updates.Support finance and management with reporting, billing documentation, and project lifecycle oversight.Assist Account Managers in capturing new business opportunities and maintaining a full schedule of projects.Travel on short notice to support projects of varying duration and complexity.Perform other related duties as needed to drive department success.

WHAT YOU BRING:

This role is perfect for a proactive leader who wants to make a measurable difference. You’ll excel if you:
    Bring 10+ years of avionics experience on commercial and business aircraft, with a proven track record of technical excellence.Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, and ideally an FAA A&P License or Repairman Certificate qualifications.Possess prior FAA Part 145 Accountable Manager or military experience.Have experience managing profit & loss (P&L) responsibilities.Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, schedule, and optimize workloads.Communicate professionally, tactfully, and with the ability to motivate teams.Are computer-savvy and proficient with CRM systems, MS Office, and other relevant software.Thrive under dynamic conditions and can travel on short notice to support time-critical projects.Can read, interpret, and apply blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation with confidence.Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug testing and any applicable company/FAA Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program that may be required.Must be able to pass required background checks, including a 10-year TSA check if airport access or badging is required.
