JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk’s primary responsibilities are in the areas of accounts receivable, invoicing, and data entry. This position is also responsible for representing Ahead professionally and courteously when dealing with customers, vendors, Sales Representatives, and fellow employees.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk’s primary responsibilities are in the areas of accounts receivable, invoicing, and data entry. This position is also responsible for representing Ahead professionally and courteously when dealing with customers, vendors, Sales Representatives, and fellow employees.
SCHEDULE:
- 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7 am-noon) as required
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare daily deposits.
- Scan checks to the bank.
- Post payments to accounts.
- Process credit card payments.
- Processing invoicing.
- Issue debits/credits as a result of credit dispute resolution.
- Respond to Customer inquiries as necessary.
- Additional duties as assigned.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide support during on-site audit.
- Provide support during budgeting process
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong understanding of the Accounts Receivable function.
- Proficient in MS Office software, especially Excel.
- Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills.
- Strong “hands-on” work ethic.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to professionally interact with all levels of management and co-workers.
- Ability to professionally interact with existing and potential customers and vendors.
- Confidentiality when dealing with company financial information.
- Great Plains experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of other relevant computer software and systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent electronic communication and functional ability.
- Must possess initiative, energy, and drive.
- Excellent organizational skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma equivalent required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Use hands and fingers to handle, touch, and type.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Regularly required to stand.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Exposure to moderate noise level.
