Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday), 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Pay Range: $19.50 – $21.10/hour

Fairmount Homes, a Christ-centered Continuing Care Retirement Community, is seeking a dependable and caring individual to join our Security & Maintenance Team. This weekend-only position plays an important role in maintaining a secure, well-functioning, and welcoming environment for our residents, team members, and visitors.

• Perform light maintenance and security rounds across campus buildings.

• Lock and check doors, windows, equipment, and lighting.

• Monitor parking lots and ensure buildings are secure.

• Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or maintenance calls.

• Escort and assist residents, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.

• Support safety initiatives, including fire and weather alerts.

• Help with snow and ice removal and other light projects to keep our campus safe and comfortable.

• Communicate any security or maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.

• A dependable, service-minded individual with a calm and professional demeanor.

• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.

• A willingness to assist others — whether that’s a resident, visitor, or fellow team member.

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
