Our client is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a solid foundation in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close who is looking to grow within a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency
• Assist with special projects and other accounting responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
