OEM Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an OEM Manager based in United States.

This is an opportunity to drive strategic growth across OEM accounts in a rapidly scaling climate technology business. You will own the success of the technology within key OEM relationships, influencing product roadmaps, engineering decisions, and long-term design wins. The role combines strategic account management, consultative selling, technical engagement, and ecosystem development. You’ll work closely with OEM executives, engineers, product leaders, procurement teams, sales representatives, contractors, and other industry influencers. Internally, you’ll collaborate across business development, regional sales, engineering, marketing, and product teams to turn opportunities into recurring commercial growth. This role is ideal for an experienced HVAC or energy technology sales professional who thrives in complex environments and knows how to build lasting partnerships around technically differentiated products.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to secure design wins and drive adoption of motor technology within OEM HVAC product lines.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with OEM decision-makers across engineering, product management, procurement, and other key functions.
  • Navigate complex buying processes, identify technical and commercial requirements, and position the technology as a preferred long-term partner solution.
  • Lead technical and commercial discussions with OEM engineering teams, demonstrating product value, performance advantages, integration feasibility, and business impact.
  • Develop multi-year account strategies aligned with OEM product roadmaps to generate recurring design-in and growth opportunities.
  • Manage relationships across OEM regional offices, engineering firms, sales representative organizations, MEP contractors, and other relevant stakeholders and influencers.
  • Enable sales representative organizations by helping their teams understand the value proposition of differentiated solutions and how they can support customer profitability.
  • Partner with Business Development teams to align OEM initiatives with end-user demand generation and collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to support downstream commercial success.
  • Monitor competitive developments, market trends, and OEM product strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and early engagement in new product development cycles.
  • Represent the organization at OEM-focused industry events, conferences, and technical forums to strengthen market positioning and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, pipeline reporting, design-in progress, and account performance information.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to develop customer-specific messaging, collateral, technical resources, and sales enablement materials.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in OEM sales management, business development, or a related commercial role within HVAC, energy efficiency, industrial technology, or a closely related industry.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex OEM ecosystems and influencing multiple stakeholders across engineering, product management, procurement, sales, contractors, and other industry participants.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical contracting, facility operations, or related industrial applications is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of driving rapid revenue growth for new products, emerging technologies, or new business initiatives within agile and dynamic environments.
  • Strong experience selling technically complex, high-value, premium products through consultative and strategic sales approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage 20+ customer accounts simultaneously while maintaining strong relationships and consistent execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking, account planning, opportunity development, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical products and translate their performance and business benefits into compelling customer value propositions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging senior executives, engineers, procurement leaders, sales representatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, marketing, business development, sales, and operations teams.
  • Highly adaptable, commercially driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-growth environment where priorities and opportunities can evolve quickly.
Benefits
  • Comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Health Savings Account with employer contributions.
  • Healthcare FSA, Limited Purpose FSA, and Dependent Care FSA options.
  • Company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage.
  • Group Life and AD&D insurance.
  • Voluntary Life and AD&D insurance.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with no employer match.
  • Stock options.
  • Open paid time off (PTO).
  • 12 paid company holidays.
  • Potential relocation assistance for eligible positions.
  • Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid opportunities depending on role requirements.
  • Company-paid lunch on Fridays.
  • Community and employee give-back opportunities.
  • Opportunity to work with innovative climate technology and contribute to the adoption of more efficient industrial solutions.
  • Collaborative environment focused on shared goals, professional growth, and a strong sense of belonging.
