Technical Recruiter

Location: Fairfax, VA (Headquarters) | Hybrid
Reports To: Human Resources Leadership

Position Overview

CODE Plus, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter with 5 to 8 years of recruiting experience to support hiring efforts across our federal and commercial programs. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment of technical and professional talent, partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source qualified candidates, and facilitate the hiring process. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting within the government contracting or technology sector and is skilled at building strong candidate pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating candidate evaluations, and offer management.
  • Source qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, networking events, and direct outreach.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for technical and professional positions.
  • Create compelling job postings and recruitment campaigns to attract top talent.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and overall fit.

Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and position requirements.
  • Provide insights on candidate availability, market trends, and recruiting strategies.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and ensure a smooth hiring process for both candidates and hiring teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding recruitment progress and candidate status.

Candidate Experience & Relationship Management

  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Build relationships with active and passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Represent CODE Plus professionally in interactions with prospective employees and external recruiting events.

Recruiting Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable federal, state, and company employment policies.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, and source effectiveness.
  • Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in technical, IT, engineering, cybersecurity, or government contracting environments.
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting for technical and professional services positions.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting platforms and sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and ATS platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for Federal Government contracts, including cleared and uncleared positions.
  • Familiarity with IT, software development, cloud, cybersecurity, engineering, and program management roles.
  • Knowledge of government contracting recruiting practices and labor categories.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR/recruiting certification.
  • Experience using ADP Talent Management, or similar recruitment systems.
