Job Description

Marketing Data Insights Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Data Insights Lead based in the United States.

As a Marketing Data Insights Lead, you’ll turn complex marketing questions into clear, actionable business recommendations.
You’ll own analytical workstreams from problem framing and data preparation through modeling, testing, and executive-level storytelling.
The role combines hands-on analytics with meaningful client interaction and strategic consulting.
You’ll work directly with senior marketing stakeholders, helping them understand performance, uncover opportunities, and make confident decisions.
You’ll have the support of experienced statisticians and strategists while maintaining significant ownership and autonomy over your work.
The environment values curiosity, intellectual rigor, accountability, innovation, and a strong focus on client outcomes.
This is a remote opportunity for candidates in the East Coast or Midwest, with required travel to New York City and client meetings as needed.

Accountabilities
  • Translate ambiguous marketing and business questions into structured analytical problems, hypotheses, and clearly defined objectives.
  • Own analytical workstreams end-to-end, from problem definition and data preparation through analysis, validation, and delivery.
  • Pull, transform, and analyze data using SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, aggregations, and related techniques.
  • Design and conduct analytical models, statistical tests, A/B testing analyses, and other quantitative approaches to answer client questions.
  • Pressure-test analytical findings and ensure the accuracy, rigor, and defensibility of recommendations before presenting them.
  • Translate statistical and analytical outputs into clear narratives, reports, visualizations, and presentations that business leaders can act upon.
  • Present findings to senior marketing stakeholders and confidently address questions, challenge assumptions, and influence next steps.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and serve as a strategic analytical partner across multiple engagements.
  • Manage multiple active workstreams and accounts, prioritizing tasks based on urgency, business value, and client impact.
  • Develop and apply improved analytical methods, sharper questions, and reusable frameworks that raise the quality and efficiency of team deliverables.
  • Create reports and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Domo, Excel, or comparable platforms.
  • Collaborate with statisticians, strategists, and other team members while maintaining independent ownership of assigned engagements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent quantitative education in statistics, finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, B2B data consulting, or a closely related field.
  • Strong SQL proficiency, including complex joins, CTEs, aggregations, and data manipulation.
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent platforms.
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts, including A/B testing and predictive modeling fundamentals.
  • Strong ability to translate quantitative analysis into practical business recommendations and compelling narratives.
  • Comfortable presenting analytical findings to senior stakeholders and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated client-facing skills, including the ability to build relationships, communicate complex concepts clearly, and diplomatically challenge assumptions.
  • Strong prioritization and project-management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities across multiple accounts and workstreams.
  • High level of curiosity and intellectual rigor, with a natural tendency to ask why and connect analytical findings to business implications.
  • Strong accountability, independence, attention to detail, and commitment to producing accurate, defensible work.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while also operating autonomously and taking ownership of deliverables.
  • Candidates must reside in the East Coast or Midwest regions and be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours.
  • Willingness to travel to the New York City office and attend client meetings as needed.
  • This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship, including OPT.
Benefits
  • Fully remote work opportunity within the United States, subject to geographic and time-zone requirements.
  • Flexible PTO and a generous paid holiday schedule.
  • Comprehensive medical coverage with a choice of three plans.
  • Dental and vision insurance.
  • Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance.
  • Optional supplemental life, accident, and critical illness insurance plans.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Fully paid primary caregiver leave for 12 weeks.
  • Paid parental bonding leave for 2 weeks.
  • Training and professional development with unlimited access to the Percipio learning platform.
  • Professional mentoring program providing career guidance from leadership.
  • Employee Resource Groups supporting collaboration and shared interests.
  • Community volunteering opportunities through an employee-focused outreach program.
  • Opportunities to work alongside experienced statisticians, strategists, and analytics professionals.
  • A collaborative, innovation-focused environment centered on learning, client impact, and professional growth.
  • Benefits designed to support employees and their families.
