Job Description
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst for Endoscopy & Procedure Suites:
The Analyst, Endoscopy & Procedure Room Operations is a strategic, business-focused member of the
administrative operations team providing analytical, operational, and project coordination support for
endoscopy and procedure room services. This role is responsible for managing space utilization,
equipment lifecycle oversight, supply chain coordination, and developing data-driven dashboards that
inform operational efficiency, throughput, and access optimization. The analyst serves as the primary
operational point of contact for the Manager of Patient Care Endoscopy Clinic, Vice Chair of
Gastroenterology, Director of Procedural Departments and Division Administrator, translating data into
actionable insights that support strategic planning and continuous improvement across the endoscopy
and procedure room program.
Minimum Education: Bacheolors Degree any field of study
Preferred Education: Master's Degree Business or Health Administration
Minimum Experience Required: 1–3 years of experience in healthcare operations, business analytics, finance, or
performance improvement • Experience in an acute care hospital, ambulatory procedural setting, or healthcare administration environment
Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including data interpretation, dashboard
development, and statistical reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data
visualization), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to develop and maintain operational dashboards and KPI reports for leadership
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, reimbursement concepts, and regulatory
considerations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to

diverse audiences including physicians, administrators, and clinical staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and complete assignments within
established time frames
• Strong reading comprehension and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience: Prior experience supporting endoscopy, procedural services, or surgical services
operations
• Experience with equipment contract management, capital planning, or vendor coordination
in a healthcare setting
• Exposure to space management, scheduling optimization, or capacity planning
Preferred Skills/Specialized Training: Exposure to performance improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma,
Agile/Scrum)
• Experience with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner) and analytics platforms
• Ability to develop models and scenarios in Excel with links to raw data sources
• Familiarity with institutional analytics tools (e.g., Analytic Webplayer, labor analytics,
surgical profitability tools)
