About This Position

Clinical Research Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst I

Position Highlights:

  • The Clinical Research Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst I serves as critical member of Clinical Research Revenue Cycle information systems support team.
  • This position is responsible for a wide range of information technology duties that ensures the success of the Mgr, CRRC Operations and institutional goals affecting Clinical Research Revenue Cycle.
  • This position is responsible for application design, development, implementation, and support of the suite of clinical research financial and operations products and related 3rd party applications.
  • This position has broad technical and functional understanding of Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) and designs and develops tools within the CTMS (OnCore) and other platforms to provide ongoing monitoring and refinement of performance.
  • This position partners with other leaders and staff within the CTBO/CRRC, across the CTO, and with Moffitt Shared Services in solutions formation and process improvement efforts.
  • This role is instrumental to the way in which the CTBO/CRRC and CTO collaborate together on a day-to-day basis as well as improve the way timeliness and effectiveness of clinical research processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, tests, and implements custom or vendor supplied systems software
  • Performs system assessments, process analysis, and requirements definition
  • Documents, assists with, and/or performs software installations, configurations, and customizations
  • Maintains production systems to ensure reliable performance, appropriate change management and security
  • Resolves issues and performs root cause analysis
  • Documents and/or assists in creating systems policies, procedures, and training materials

Credentials and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: field of study - Information Technology or healthcare/business related discipline (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Medical Informatics)
  • Minimum two (2) years information system development, implementation, and system support for one or more of the following clinical research, healthcare finance, or healthcare business operations functions required: Clinical Trials Business Office, Clinical Research Revenue Cycle, Clinical Research Revenue Integrity, Clinical Trials Office, or Research Analysis at both the functional and technical layers.
    • - OR –
  • * Associate’s degree with an additional two (2) years of experience additional relevant clinical research or business operations and technical support related experience plus the two (2) years (for a total of 4 years) experience in information system development, implementation, and system support roles, healthcare business operations, information systems may be considered "in lieu" of a Bachelor's degree.
    • - OR –
  • *High School diploma with an additional four (4) years of experience additional relevant clinical research or business operations and technical support related experience plus the two (2) years (for a total of 6 years) experience in information system development, implementation, and system support roles, healthcare business operations, information systems may be considered "in lieu" of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Functional experience with Advarra OnCore, Advarra EDC, Florence eBinders, symplr Contract, Cerner Soarian
