About the Role

Given the pace of growth at 123Dentist, the purpose of this posting is to engage potential candidates who may be considered in the future for an active employment opportunity as we continue to grow.

As a Corporate Development Manager, you will play a key role in executing the organization’s growth strategy through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, and other strategic corporate development initiatives.

This is a highly visible role that works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.

You will take ownership of the full deal lifecycle—from evaluation and financial analysis through due diligence, negotiation support, and execution—while also overseeing and reviewing the work of Analysts and Associates to ensure high-quality deliverables.

This role supports the organization’s national expansion strategy and contributes to high-impact strategic initiatives across the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead execution of corporate development initiatives including acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, and strategic investments
  • Own the full deal lifecycle from initial evaluation through to close
  • Conduct and review financial analysis, valuation modelling, and due diligence on acquisition targets
  • Evaluate strategic fit, risks, and synergies, and prepare investment recommendations for senior leadership
  • Review and oversee work completed by Analysts and Associates to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Manage external advisors including legal counsel, Quality of Earnings providers, and other consultants
  • Support negotiation processes with external stakeholders and advisors
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Finance, Operations, Legal, and senior leadership
  • Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify new opportunities
  • Support integration planning and execution for completed transactions
  • Contribute to process improvement and implementation of best practices within Corporate Development
  • Assist in training and development of junior team members
  • Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives including forecasting, capital planning, and Board-level presentations

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or related transactional roles
  • Strong experience in financial modelling, valuation, and end-to-end M&A execution
  • Experience managing or leading deal processes including due diligence and transaction execution
  • Experience reviewing or supervising junior team members is an asset
  • MBA, CFA, CPA, or other advanced designation is considered an asset

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong financial analysis and advanced financial modelling skills
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance, valuation, and deal structuring
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage complex transactions and multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation experience
  • High attention to detail with strong ownership mindset
  • Ability to synthesize complex and incomplete data into actionable insights
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
