ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Quality Control Inspector I, you'll play a hands-on role in verifying that the precision parts and components leaving our production floor meet the exacting standards our medical device customers depend on. You'll work directly with precision measuring equipment, blueprints, and inspection records, gaining valuable experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of manufactured and purchased parts against engineering drawings and specifications
- Use precision inspection equipment, including optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, and gages, to verify part conformance
- Read blueprints and apply GD&T principles to determine acceptance criteria
- Identify and segregate nonconforming material, and support the disposition process
- Maintain accurate inspection records to support full lot and product traceability
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to help resolve quality issues
WHAT YOU BRING
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Prior experience in quality assurance/quality control or precision manufacturing preferred, but not required - an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Associate degree, technical/vocational training in quality or metrology, or an ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with tight tolerances
- Familiarity with ISO quality standards and GMP practices is a plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The pay range for this role is $52,199 - $62,638 annually ($25.10 - $30.11 per hour), and this position is overtime (OT) eligible. This role is also eligible for MMT's Annual Bonus Plan.
