Position Summary

Cleans resident apartments, public bathrooms, offices, halls, trash rooms, stairways. elevators, and other areas by performing the following duties.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Disinfects equipment and supplies and keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
  • Maintains cleaning equipment in proper working condition and reports on equipment and/or furniture in need of repair.
  • Cleans unoccupied apartments thoroughly; performs duties such as mopping floors, vacuuming; cleans and washes washroom fixtures; cleans mirrors and inside windows.
  • Cleans occupied residents' rooms including vacuuming and mopping and maintaining resident kitchens, bathrooms, and balcony in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
  • Cleans other areas such as offices, workrooms, lobbies, classrooms, laundry room, and restrooms if assigned.
  • Dusts resident furniture, woodwork, door panels, and sills.
  • Cleans rugs and carpets. Dust mops and wet mops floors: vacuums carpets and rugs.
  • Empties wastebaskets. Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and reprioritize assigned tasks as needed within one hour.
  • Attends in-service programs and meetings as required.





What You’ll Bring

High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Employment Requirements


At MorseLife, the safety and well-being of our residents, patients, employees, and visitors are our top priorities. As part of our pre-employment process, all offers of employment are contingent upon successfully completing:
  • A 10-panel pre-employment drug screening.
  • A Level 2 background screening in accordance with the requirements of the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
