We are seeking an IT Support Specialist I to provide responsive, hands-on technical support to employees across the organization. As the first point of contact for day-to-day IT needs, you’ll troubleshoot hardware, software, user account, and connectivity issues while helping employees get the most out of the technology they use every day.

What You’ll Do
- Provide Level 1 technical support for computers, printers, tablets, peripherals, UPS systems, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot common software and application issues involving Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Dialpad, Epicor Kinetic, Minitab, SolidWorks, and other business applications.
- Support user accounts and access within Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory, Epicor, and other company systems.
- Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues and escalate more complex issues when appropriate.
- Monitor Help Desk tickets and provide timely communication, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Support new employee onboarding, including device preparation, account setup, system access, and basic technology orientation.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and equipment records.
- Maintain and update IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and other technical documentation.
- Escalate technical issues to appropriate IT team members when additional expertise or support is required.
- Deliver friendly, responsive, and professional technical support to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Assist with IT projects and other technology-related responsibilities as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Previous IT support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, internship, or related technical experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, software applications, user accounts, and network connectivity.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows-based environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and user account administration is preferred.
- Experience supporting technology within a manufacturing, engineering, or R&D environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of a programming or scripting language is a plus but not required.
