Job Description

Senior Business Solutions Team Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Solutions Team Lead based in Canada.

This is a senior, client-facing player-coach role focused on scaling Revenue Operations capabilities and delivering measurable business outcomes.
You’ll lead and mentor a team of Revenue Operations professionals while remaining hands-on with complex technical challenges.
The role combines strategic leadership with deep expertise across Salesforce, HubSpot, and marketing automation platforms.
You’ll oversee sophisticated client engagements, from audits and architecture through implementation, optimization, and integration.
You’ll work directly with senior stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear business recommendations and growth opportunities.
As the practice evolves, you’ll help establish scalable processes, technical standards, documentation, and delivery best practices.
This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where performance, ownership, and problem-solving are highly valued.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Revenue Operations Solution Engineers, including workload planning, prioritization, coaching, and performance support.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical, strategic, and client-related challenges.
  • Own or oversee strategic client relationships, ensuring clear communication, high-quality delivery, strong stakeholder management, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead and support Salesforce, HubSpot, and marketing automation audits, implementations, integrations, migrations, and optimization initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, and HubSpot Marketing Hub.
  • Design and advise on lifecycle architecture, lead management, routing, automation, CRM and marketing automation integrations, attribution, reporting, and data governance.
  • Translate complex technical findings and platform challenges into actionable recommendations for both executive and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Review team deliverables for technical accuracy, strategic quality, and readiness before client delivery.
  • Partner with account leadership and internal stakeholders to identify expansion, cross-sell, and additional value opportunities.
  • Support project scoping, solution design, and new business conversations related to Revenue Operations.
  • Develop repeatable processes, documentation, playbooks, technical standards, and delivery frameworks as the practice scales.
  • Maintain visibility into project health, team capacity, utilization, delivery risks, and resource requirements across multiple engagements.
  • Balance strategic leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical execution when deeper expertise or intervention is required.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, CRM consulting, marketing automation, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2+ years of direct people management or formal team leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to coach and develop technical professionals.
  • Active Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering and implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Deep experience with Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, including either a relevant certification or at least 2–3 years of hands-on implementation and administration experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, including automation, lifecycle management, data architecture, integrations, and reporting.
  • Experience leading complex CRM and marketing automation implementations, audits, migrations, or optimization programs.
  • Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management, lead routing, attribution, CRM/MAP integrations, automation, and data governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead senior-level client conversations and translate technical challenges into clear business recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to manage expectations and navigate difficult client conversations.
  • Ability to balance people leadership, client management, strategic thinking, and hands-on technical delivery.
  • Previous experience in an agency, consulting, or professional services environment is strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot certification and additional Salesforce certifications are advantageous.
  • HubSpot certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working across Salesforce and HubSpot environments for B2B organizations is preferred.
  • Experience scoping projects, supporting sales conversations, and identifying account expansion opportunities is desirable.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, commercial awareness, ownership, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary.
  • Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage for you and your family.
  • Employer-paid healthcare contributions, including a fully employer-paid plan for employees and a 50% employer contribution for eligible dependents in applicable locations.
  • Mental wellbeing support, including access to certified therapists and Headspace membership.
  • Physical wellbeing resources, including physical therapy, virtual fitness programs, and primary and virtual care options.
  • Unlimited PTO with a two-week minimum, plus paid company holidays.
  • Birthday day off.
  • End-of-year company recharge period from December 24 through January 1.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Traditional and Roth 401(k) with a 3% company match, where applicable.
  • Annual bonus that increases based on tenure.
  • Annual company-wide retreat.
  • Fully remote work from a home office, with Canada supported for eligible employees who permanently reside in the country and have current work authorization.
  • Remote-first collaboration using tools such as Zoom and Slack.
  • A people-first, inclusive culture focused on professional growth, collaboration, and meaningful client impact.
  • Reasonable workplace accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
