FP&A / corporate finance Evaluator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an FP&A / Corporate Finance Evaluator based in Canada.

As an FP&A / Corporate Finance Evaluator, you will use your financial expertise to assess the quality and accuracy of AI-generated business materials.
You will review documents, spreadsheets, and presentations through the lens of real-world corporate finance and FP&A standards.
The role requires a strong eye for detail and the ability to identify factual, analytical, formatting, and presentation issues.
You will provide structured, actionable feedback that helps improve the quality and reliability of AI-generated financial work products.
Working independently and asynchronously, you will manage assignments against clear deadlines while maintaining consistently high standards.
You will collaborate with other subject matter experts to validate financial accuracy, professional judgment, and practical relevance.
This is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to apply their expertise to innovative AI development while working remotely and flexibly.

Accountabilities:
  • Evaluate AI-generated FP&A and corporate finance artifacts against established domain-specific quality standards and evaluation rubrics.
  • Review financial documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business materials for accuracy, consistency, and professional quality.
  • Identify factual, analytical, financial, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors in AI-generated work products.
  • Assess whether financial analyses, assumptions, calculations, and conclusions are consistent with professional FP&A and corporate finance practices.
  • Provide clear, structured, and actionable written feedback designed to improve AI-generated outputs.
  • Distinguish between technically correct content and work that demonstrates appropriate professional judgment and business context.
  • Review presentation materials for clarity, organization, visual quality, and effectiveness in communicating financial information.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to complete evaluation assignments accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts to validate complex financial content and maintain rigorous evaluation standards.
  • Contribute to improving AI model performance by consistently applying domain expertise and detailed quality feedback.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a closely related financial discipline.
  • Strong practical understanding of financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and corporate finance concepts.
  • Native or professional fluency in English, with excellent written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly spreadsheet and presentation tools such as Excel and Google Slides.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify subtle errors in financial analysis, business documents, and presentations.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess whether financial outputs are logical, accurate, and professionally sound.
  • Ability to provide concise, structured, and constructive written feedback.
  • Strong understanding of professional standards for financial reporting, analysis, and executive-facing materials.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and consistently meet deadlines in an asynchronous remote environment.
  • Comfortable evaluating work objectively against defined criteria and applying consistent quality standards.
  • An advanced degree, such as a Master’s degree or higher from a recognized institution, is preferred.
