Job Description

WELLDONE Chemical LLC, part of the Welldone Chemical Group, serves as the headquarters for the Group’s global strategic management and operations. We provide high-performance chemical solutions to the infrastructure, building materials, mining, wastewater treatment, and oilfield services industries worldwide.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, tax coordination, and administrative functions. This role will also support financial activities related to our international supply chain and business operations across North America and Latin America.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. General Ledger & Daily Accounting

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries, account classifications, and general ledger activities using QuickBooks Online.

Perform regular bank, credit card, and intercompany account reconciliations.

Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P), including invoicing, payment collections, vendor invoices, and payment schedules.

Maintain accurate and complete financial records and supporting documentation.

2. Tax Compliance & Financial Reporting

Prepare financial data and coordinate periodic state and local tax filings, including Texas Franchise Tax and Sales & Use Tax.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements, for management review.

Reconcile international shipping invoices, customs duties, import tariffs, and freight expenses and ensure appropriate allocation to inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).

Maintain organized accounting records, invoices, and tax documentation and coordinate with external CPA firms for annual corporate tax filings.

3. Cross-Border Financial Coordination & Administration

Coordinate financial correspondence, invoicing, and payment tracking with customers, vendors, and suppliers across North America and Latin America.

Support multi-currency transactions and international financial activities.

Manage expense reports, supporting documentation, and general financial administration.

Maintain accurate financial records and document archives.

Provide financial and administrative support for the Company's expanding logistics and shipping operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 2–4 years of U.S.-based accounting or bookkeeping experience. Experience within international trade, chemical, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environments is highly preferred.

Language: Bilingual English/Spanish required, with strong verbal and written communication skills to support Latin American customers, vendors, and business partners.

Software: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and experience with Oracle and/or SAP preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and financial analysis.

Accounting Knowledge: Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, Chart of Accounts, inventory accounting and valuation, multi-currency transactions, and basic trade finance.

Professional Attributes: Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, ethical, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization.
