This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Manager based in the United States.
This role leads a high-performing B2C inside sales team focused on helping homeowners access greater financial flexibility through home equity solutions. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day team support, performance management, coaching, and sales execution. You will set clear goals, analyze performance data, and develop strategies that improve productivity and customer experience. The role also includes hiring, onboarding, training, and developing Account Managers/Sales Representatives. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you will help shape sales initiatives and optimize processes across the organization. This is a remote-first leadership opportunity for a data-driven sales professional who enjoys building strong teams and driving measurable results.
- Provide daily support to Account Managers/Sales Representatives, ensuring appropriate sales coverage and helping resolve complex homeowner situations and complaints.
- Establish monthly sales goals and monitor team performance through sales reports, call reviews, and qualitative and quantitative performance indicators.
- Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings, provide targeted coaching, and support underperforming team members with clear development plans.
- Build and coordinate ongoing sales training programs that promote continuous learning and improve team capabilities.
- Interview, hire, and onboard new Account Managers/Sales Representatives, ensuring a structured and effective ramp-up experience.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on sales-related initiatives and provide operational support where needed.
- Develop and execute call campaigns, including call volume expectations, scripts, service-level agreements, and performance standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing sales processes, increasing team productivity while creating a smoother customer experience.
- Analyze performance trends and translate insights into operational improvements and strategic sales initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of sales management experience, particularly managing telephonic or inside sales teams with a strong focus on performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales and performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into measurable operational improvements.
- Proven experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives from planning through execution.
- Experience in real estate, mortgage, or HELOC industries is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing remote teams using a data-driven approach to monitor, coach, and improve performance.
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate multiple approaches, collaborate with stakeholders, and align decisions with broader business objectives.
- Ability to define short-term performance metrics that support long-term organizational goals.
- Excellent prioritization, organization, and ownership skills, with the ability to maintain clear focus across a team.
- Strong conflict-resolution and communication skills, including the judgment to involve additional stakeholders or HR when appropriate.
- Willingness and ability to attend four mandatory onsite events per year, including required travel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in accordance with the SAFE Act and Regulation Z within 60 days of starting the role and throughout employment. The licensing process includes NMLS registration, a criminal background check, and a credit check. All licensing costs are covered by the employer.

- $90,000 annual base salary across eligible U.S. metro areas.
