Description:

The Impact You’ll Make

As the Human Resources Generalist, you’ll serve as a critical link between employees, managers, and our HR Centers of Excellence at Headquarters. This position reports directly to the HR Director and is based onsite at Setna Headquarters. The HR Generalist will ensure that HR programs, policies, payroll activities, and processes are not only compliant and consistent, but also human-centered and aligned with our culture. Your work will directly influence employee engagement, payroll accuracy, operational efficiency, and the overall employee experience at Setna, while meeting global HR standards in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely, accurate, and empathetic HR support.
  • Partner with Global HR teams—including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations—to deliver consistent services across the organization.
  • Administer employee lifecycle processes (recruiting, onboarding, transfers, promotions, offboarding) in alignment with company policies and local labor regulations.
  • Support benefits administration, leave management, and payroll coordination in partnership with centralized HR operations.
  • Support payroll administration activities, including timekeeping review, employee data changes, payroll reporting, deduction updates, and coordination of payroll corrections or employee inquiries.
  • Assist in the rollout of company-wide HR initiatives such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and policy updates.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation, and escalating complex matters to HR Headquarters as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance consistency, and improve employee experience within the shared services framework.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a shared services or matrixed environment.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting within the MRO, aerospace, aviation, or other highly regulated technical environments, with the ability to source and assess specialized talent.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Paylocity, including HRIS and payroll functionality; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust and strong working relationships.
  • A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to balance consistency and flexibility.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • A collaborative, people-first culture where your voice and expertise truly matter.
  • Competitive compensation, comprehensive health benefits, and a 401(k).
  • Access to a global HR network, best-in-class tools, and ongoing professional development.
