Job Description

Who We Are

ROHL Global Networks Inc. is a diversified infrastructure company based in Western Canada, with expanding operations across North America. Originally established as a leading provider of telecommunications and utility infrastructure design and construction, ROHL has strategically grown into real estate development and management, solar energy systems, and power infrastructure, serving enterprise, government, and wholesale clients.

From building fiber optic and high-voltage systems to delivering solar farms and enabling AI-driven data centers and EV infrastructure, ROHL plays a critical role in powering the future of Canada’s built environment.

The Role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of telecom and utility infrastructure projects across Alberta. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical, regulatory, and client requirements. Acting as a key liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, utility owners, and clients, the Project Manager drives project delivery while maintaining high standards of quality, cost control, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Success in this role requires a strong understanding of construction operations and the ability to effectively apply project management tools and analytical methods to enhance project performance and drive continuous improvement across the division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of telecommunications and utility construction projects from initiation through closeout
  • Analyze project information and identify construction solutions that create efficiencies and cost savings
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals
  • Oversee permitting processes, locate coordination, and third-party utility approvals
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines or budgets
  • Track and report on project progress through status updates, performance metrics, and stakeholder meetings
  • Manage project changes, including scope adjustments, schedule revisions, and cost impacts
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, timely, and complete, including contracts, change orders, and closeout packages
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, utility owners, and local municipalities to support project success
  • Bring a proactive, go-getter mindset — anticipating challenges, driving solutions, and pushing projects forward without waiting to be asked

  • What you Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field — or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training is required
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience in telecommunications or utility infrastructure construction
  • Proven track record delivering telecommunication and utility installation projects in compliance with client and/or municipal utility standards is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction and operation methodologies for telecommunication and utility infrastructure deployment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and willingness to travel within Alberta as required
  • Willingness and ability to manage projects effectively from both the office and the field
  • Flexibility and ambition to grow within the organization as it continues to expand

  • What We Offer

    • Competitive Wages – commensurate with experience
    • Comprehensive Benefits Plan including dental, vision and extended health for you and your family
    • Group RSP / TFSA Matching Plan
    • Training and professional development opportunities

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. May require overtime or working evenings or weekends.
