Project Coordinator

  • Assisting with the hiring and management of field staff.
  • Reviewing daily timecards, ensuring all employee and equipment hours are captured.
  • Assisting supervisors as needed with data entry of daily hours and costs.
  • Processing daily LEMs and daily reports accordingly.
  • Managing subcontractors and completing material orders.
  • Reviewing and approving all subcontractor and material billing.
  • Creating purchase orders as needed.
  • Reviewing accounts payable invoices and matching to appropriate purchase orders.
  • Assist in the quality management program.
  • Understanding and developing budgets, cost reports, and revenue forecasts.
  • Staying on top of change management; including identification of change, creation/execution of estimates and change order requests.
  • Building progress claims for invoicing according to the terms of the contract.
  • Assisting with the creation of accounts receivable invoices.
  • Developing and maintaining a project schedule.
  • Ensuring the quality management system is followed; compiling and monitoring ITP, progressive turnover, re-work tracking and project closeout.
  • Leading by example with the corporate health and safety program; reviewing safety documentation, monitoring, and reporting both internally and on the client level.
  • Tracking inventory of safety and office supplies, re-ordering as needed

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized engineering/project management program or equivalent is an asset.
  • Experience in Civil and Forestry is an asset
  • Ability to travel across Alberta, spending time on site with the rest of the time working in the Edmonton head office.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
