What we provide

Location: Arlington, TX 76012 (on-site apartment included) + Annex location in Italy, TX
The position:
Smooth Operation- You will maintain the efficient operation of one self storage facility. This includes maximizing sales & occupancy, controlling delinquencies, and ensuring proper maintenance.
Serving People- You will build relationships with people experiencing intimate life moments- moving houses, dealing with the death of a loved one. Storage facilities work with people in transitional moments of life. We have the ability to pour into these people and truly make a difference.
Daily tasks- Providing exceptional customer service, property upkeep, processing payments, insurance and retail sales and collections management. Required travel between the two properties as your DM advises.
Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional service to our customers.
- Understand and explain the leasing process to customers.
- Accurately post payments on the point-of-sale system.
- Sell packing and moving supplies and tenant insurance to protect our customers’ goods.
- Maintain accurate records for each customer including leases, proof of insurance, and correspondence.
- Conduct daily visual and unit audits of the entire facility as well as perform lock checks.
- Prepare daily deposits and balance receipts at the end of the day.
- Perform light maintenance inside the facility and on the grounds including sweeping, changing light bulbs and removing debris from storage units.
- Effectively utilize computer systems in the Microsoft Windows environment.
- Assist customers with truck rentals.
- Responsible for collections of delinquent accounts.
- Ensures Company standards are always maintained and complies with Company’s handbook.
- Minimum 1 year of self storage property management experience
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
- Familiarity with self storage operations software (like SSM, SiteLink, storEDGE, or similar)
- Customer service experience
- Ability to multi-task and can work unsupervised
- Confidently lease units and close rentals
- A High School diploma/GED equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
