This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of servers, networks, cloud services, and business-critical software while providing technical support to employees across the organization.

What you'll do

1. Manage and maintain company servers, networks, cloud services, and overall IT infrastructure.
2. Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and user access management.
3. Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure business continuity.
4. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network equipment.
5. Support and administer business applications, including Vista by Viewpoint, CRM platforms, and other operational software.
6. Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, permissions, and equipment deployment.
7. Provide technical support for office staff and field personnel, resolving hardware, software, connectivity, and application issues.
8. Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including patch management, endpoint protection, access controls, and security monitoring.
9. Manage system backups, disaster recovery processes, and data protection initiatives.
10. Coordinate software upgrades, system implementations, and technology improvement projects.
11. Develop and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and system inventories.
12. Work with external vendors, software providers, and IT partners to support company technology needs.
13. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, security, and system performance throughout the organization.

What we're looking for

1. 3–5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Network Administration, or IT Infrastructure Support.
2. Strong experience administering:
3. Microsoft 365
4. Active Directory
5. Windows Server environments
6. Network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks
7. Experience supporting ERP platforms such as Vista by Viewpoint or similar business management systems preferred.
8. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, system hardening, patch management, and access controls.
9. Experience with data backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity processes.
10. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
11. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
12. Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
13. Experience supporting mobile and field-based employees is a plus.
14. Construction, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or field-service industry experience is highly preferred.
15. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
16. Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or related certifications are a plus.
