This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Manager, Patient Access, Retail Copay Programs based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to support patient access initiatives by managing programs that help individuals begin and continue their prescribed treatments.
You will play a key role in optimizing retail copay operations, improving affordability solutions, and enhancing patient support experiences.
The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on program execution, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver compliant and impactful patient access solutions.

Accountabilities:

The Marketing Manager, Patient Access, Retail Copay Programs will oversee the execution, optimization, and ongoing improvement of patient affordability programs. This role requires strong project management skills, operational expertise, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to ensure effective program delivery.

  • Manage daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives for retail copay programs, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain program standards, business rules, documentation, and operational processes to support scalable patient access solutions.
  • Partner with external vendors to oversee program administration, performance tracking, reporting, and service delivery improvements.
  • Manage relationships with technical teams supporting website updates, digital forms, integrations, and data management initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain patient and healthcare provider resources, communications, training materials, and program assets while ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with call center teams to ensure seamless coordination between patient support channels and copay programs.
  • Support retail channel strategies by providing expertise and recommendations related to patient affordability programs.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, compliance, analytics, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure effective governance and execution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient affordability strategies through process enhancements, standardization, and portfolio optimization.
  • Track program performance, establish success metrics, and provide insights to support ongoing improvements.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a marketing or business professional with experience managing complex healthcare programs, strong communication abilities, and the capability to lead projects in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of marketing and/or business experience within a commercial organization, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, patient support, or customer-focused programs preferred.
  • Experience working with copay programs, patient affordability initiatives, reimbursement services, or related access solutions is highly valued.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from strategy through implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively with limited supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and process management capabilities.
  • Experience managing external vendors and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to various audiences.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment in complex environments.
  • Experience using project management methodologies and tools.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate processes, identify opportunities, and develop creative solutions.
