We are seeking an experienced project management professional to oversee fire protection initiatives from planning through successful completion.

The Fire Protection Project Manager will oversee the execution of fire protection projects, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. The role involves:
- Managing multiple fire protection projects, including new system installations, upgrades, and retrofits for existing facilities.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans while monitoring progress and performance.
- Ensuring all projects comply with applicable NFPA standards, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Coordinating material procurement, subcontractor activities, field service scheduling, and project resources.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, reports, drawings, and records throughout project execution.
- Reviewing technical challenges, troubleshooting system issues, and recommending effective solutions for deficiencies or improvements.
- Supporting business development efforts by identifying customer opportunities, participating in sales discussions, and maintaining market awareness.
- Conducting site surveys to assess customer requirements and provide technical recommendations and education.
- Supporting timely project billing, resolving invoicing issues, and ensuring accurate financial tracking.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
- Providing training and guidance on new systems, technologies, and processes.
- Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety and participating in ongoing professional development and industry education.
- Traveling as needed for client meetings, site visits, and project oversight.
The ideal candidate is an experienced fire protection professional with strong project management skills and technical knowledge of sprinkler and safety systems. Candidates should bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry, with a focus on water-based sprinkler systems.
- Proven experience managing projects from initiation through completion, preferably within a service-oriented or construction environment.
- Strong understanding of fire protection systems, installation processes, and industry regulations.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes, AHJ requirements, and safety standards.
- NICET Level II or higher certification in Water-Based Systems is preferred.
- Project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or CAPM are highly desirable.
- Experience using project management, scheduling, and documentation software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required for project deadlines or emergency response.
