Accounting Specialist in Cresson, Pennsylvania at Redefined Advisors LLC

RedefinED is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced accounting professional to keep our financial operations accurate, organized, and running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role working directly with our CFO. Prior accounting experience and proficiency in QuickBooks are required.

A full-time position working primarily from home with occasional in-person attendance as needed. You’ll work closely with leadership and help build the financial processes that support our continued growth.

What you’ll do

• Prepare client invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Review and process employee expense reports.
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts.
• Track vendor bills and coordinate approved payments.
• Support month-end close, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Identify discrepancies, resolve problems, and improve processes as we grow.

What we’re looking for

• At least three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks and Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with invoicing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and expense reporting.
• Experience supporting budgets and financial reports.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information.
• Someone who works independently, meets deadlines, and takes ownership of their work.
