  • Build and enhance observability capabilities, including monitoring, logging, metrics, and data-driven insights to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Strengthen platform security by implementing secure development practices, supporting automated security systems, and improving ecosystem protections.
  • Manage production environments by participating in deployments, incident response activities, troubleshooting, and reliability initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, quality assurance, and community contributors to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Support ecosystem safety initiatives, including abuse detection, policy compliance, moderation tooling, and trust signals.
  • Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing through code reviews, technical mentorship, documentation, and collaborative problem-solving in open and distributed environments.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to optimize systems, processes, and developer experiences.
Requirements
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining modern web applications in production environments.
  • Strong expertise with backend technologies, particularly Python, Django, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of product security principles, secure software development practices, and web application security concepts.
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure, deployments, monitoring systems, and production incident management.
  • Knowledge of full-stack development practices, including modern frontend technologies and API-driven architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in distributed teams and collaborate across multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive solutions in evolving environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong documentation and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
  • Experience building or supporting trust and safety systems, automated moderation tools, abuse detection mechanisms, or fraud prevention solutions is considered a strong asset.
  • Exposure to open-source projects and community-driven development models is highly desirable.
  • Passion for creating secure, user-centric technologies and fostering inclusive, collaborative engineering cultures.
Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package, including performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement savings support with employer contributions and immediate vesting opportunities.
  • Generous paid time off, including company wellness days, public holidays, and birthday leave.
  • One-time home office stipend to support remote work setup.
  • Annual professional development budget for training, certifications, and career growth.
