Quality Management Systems (QMS) in Reading, Pennsylvania at Conti Electric Inc

Indicon LLC is seeking a Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist to join our Reading, PA facility.

Position Summary

The QMS Specialist is an individual contributor responsible for maintaining, improving, and executing Indicon's quality management framework at our Reading, PA facility. You will work closely with Safety, Quality, Production, Engineering, and operations teams to uphold our operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain QMS documentation including controlled procedures, work instructions, and quality records

• Conduct internal quality audits and drive corrective actions to closure

• Process Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and manage CAPA records; track trends and report to quality leadership

• Collaborate with panel shop technicians and engineers to ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, and BOMs

• Monitor and report quality KPIs such as first-pass yield, defect rates, and rework metrics

• Support incoming material inspection and interface with the Material Department on supplier quality issues

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

• Assist in maintaining UL certification compliance and related documentation

• Support customer and third-party audits, including preparation of audit packages

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or equivalent experience

• 2+ years in a quality or manufacturing role, preferably in electrical panel fabrication, controls, or industrial manufacturing

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management standards

• Experience performing internal audits and managing CAPA processes

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wire lists, and BOMs

• CQA, CQT, or similar ASQ certification is a plus
