Overview
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop production teams to achieve key performance objectives, including safety, people development, execution to schedule (ETS), quality, scrap reduction, efficiency, and utilization.
- Directly supervise, coach, and develop production team members, including setting performance expectations, conducting regular feedback discussions, and supporting individual growth and skill development.
- Create and sustain a strong safetyfirst culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, conducting regular safety talks, addressing hazards, and promoting proactive risk identification.
- Drive quality excellence by ensuring adherence to standard work, investigating production or quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with Quality and Engineering teams.
- Plan and coordinate daily production activities, manpower allocation, and material flow to meet customer demand and production schedules.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and take timely action to address gaps, escalate risks, and drive improvement.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment that encourages accountability, engagement, and teamwork.
- Lead and participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, 5S activities, waste reduction, and continuous improvement projects.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, and other functional teams to support production readiness, process improvements, and operational stability.
- Support change management efforts related to new products, processes, equipment, or systems, ensuring smooth implementation on the production floor.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and labor regulations while maintaining discipline, fairness, and consistency.
- Actively contribute to plantwide objectives and initiatives, supporting longterm operational excellence and business growth.
