Job Description

VP Records is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to coordinate music releases, artist campaigns, catalog initiatives, and marketing projects across the company.
The Project Manager will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Digital Marketing, Publicity, Radio Promotion, Creative Services, Distribution, artists, managers, and outside partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to plan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage timelines for singles, albums, videos, catalog projects, and marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate projects from initial planning through release and post-release follow-up.
  • Track deadlines, deliverables, approvals, and outstanding action items.
  • Coordinate artwork, videos, social media content, EPKs, metadata, and promotional materials.
  • Work with internal departments, artists, managers, agencies, and distribution partners.
  • Lead project-status meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Assist with marketing budgets, expense tracking, and project approvals.
  • Monitor campaign performance, including streaming, sales, social media, and audience growth.
  • Identify delays or issues and work with teams to keep projects moving.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in music, entertainment, media, or digital marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Music Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of music release cycles, digital distribution, and DSP platforms.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Teams, Outlook, Planner, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with reggae, dancehall, Caribbean, or multicultural music is a plus

100% in-house position - no remote
