SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the accurate and timely entry and processing of Customer Sales Orders and maintaining required order entry documents of the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Process and place orders into the ERP system that arrive via:
  2. EDI
  3. Fax
  4. Phone
  5. E-Mail
  6. Customer Portals
  1. Resolve all issues with pricing and ship dates:

a. Updates and Resolutions within 24 hours

  1. Identify items with Stock Out warnings.
  2. Prints pick sheets, packing lists and acknowledgements.
  3. Audit orders to include:
  4. Correct Customer Purchase Order number
  5. Payment Terms
  6. Shipping Method
  7. Customer Pricing and Allowances
  8. Pick List and Order quantities match
  9. Resolve and correct discrepancies
  1. Work with Libman Sales Reps.
  2. Partner with traffic, planning, Small Parcel and other department teams to:
  3. Facilitate fast and accurate resolution to, cross-organizational issues
  4. Confirm Orders after shipment and assemble invoice packets
  5. Enter miscellaneous shipments: Return to Vendor Orders, Scrap Shipments, Supply Chain Transfers, etc.
  6. Assist as needed
  1. Recommend, implement and support Continuous Improvement within the department and the company to improve quality, productivity, safety, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  2. Knowledgeable and support for WMS and SysPro ERP system capabilities and functions as applicable to the Order Entry Department.
  3. Monitor the open orders report and send the updated report daily.
  4. Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

  • Multi-tasking: Able to handle and perform multiple duties at one time.
  • Detail Oriented: Must have good follow through and accuracy
  • Strong Communication and Organizational Skills
  • Ability to work across multiple departments.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, E-mail and navigating the Internet. Experience with other management and warehouse management systems a plus

  • 40 hours of non-paid time off starts at time of hire and requires supervisor approval to use.
  • PTO accrual starts at time of hire; 1 hour earned for every 40 hours worked. PTO can be used for any reason after 90 days of employment.
  • Vacation accrual starts once eligibility time has been met; requires supervisor approval to use. Increase in vacation time earned is based on years of service schedule.

Requirements:

ONSITE REQUIRED IN ARCOLA 5 day work week
