Clerical Technician in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Front Office Clerk to join our Orthopedic and Spine Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: Full Time

• Work Shift: Days

• Hours: 8:30a.m- 5:00p.m

What Your Day Looks Like: At CMH Orthopedic & Spine Center, our board certified physicians, physician assistants and qualified staff administer the care you need. Our practices and procedures include:

• Hip and knee replacements

• Back surgery

• Neck surgery

• Shoulder disease

• Hand and micro-vascular surgery

• Elbow surgery

• Knee arthroscopy

• ACL reconstruction

As a Clerk, you will be:

• Working closely with the physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and registered medical assistants

• Answering the telephone and routing to appropriate people

• Scheduling office visits, clinic procedures, updating consents, patient insurance, and demographics.

• Collecting clinic co-pays, obtaining medical records, and assisting with coordination of referrals.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1 year customer service, healthcare experience preferred

Skills: Organization, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking

Licensure/Certification: N/A

Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
